This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Plastico Traders collects when you visit our website, create an account, place an order or contact us. It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have. In short: we only collect what we need to serve you, and we never sell your personal information.

Plastico Traders is a sanitary, bath, plumbing and kitchen products store and a wholesale distributor based in Multan, Pakistan. We have been serving customers since 1980.

Information you give us

  • Account details: when you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is stored in encrypted form and we cannot see it. You can also save your name, phone number and addresses in your account.
  • Order details: when you place an order, we collect your name, phone number, email address, billing and delivery address, city, and any notes you add to the order.
  • Messages: when you contact us through a form on our website, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp, we receive your name, your contact details and your message.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the website that sent you to us. This comes from our website server, security tools and analytics tools.
  • Cookies: small files stored by your browser. See section 5 below.

We do not ask for or store debit or credit card details on this website.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, confirm and deliver your orders. This includes calling you or sending you a message to confirm an order or arrange delivery.

  • Courier and delivery partners: your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver your order.
  • Banks and mobile wallets: if you pay by bank transfer, or if we send you a refund by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa, the payment is handled by the bank or wallet provider.
  • Service providers who help us run the website: for example our web hosting company, website security and backup (Jetpack), email newsletters (Mailchimp), page translation (Google Translate) and website analytics (Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats). They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Government authorities: if we are required to by law.

Our product listings (product names, photos and prices, not your personal information) are shared with Google Merchant Center and Facebook so that our products can appear on Google, Facebook and Instagram. If you use those platforms, their own privacy policies apply.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential: to keep your cart, login and checkout working, and to keep the website secure. The website cannot work properly without these.
  • Preferences: to remember your language choice (English or Urdu). Urdu pages are translated by Google Translate, which also sets a cookie.
  • Performance: to cache pages so the website loads faster.
  • Analytics: tools such as Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats help us understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited and where people click or scroll. We use this information only to fix problems and improve the website.

Our website contains links to other services such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Google Maps. When you leave our website, the privacy policy of that service applies. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.
